About Quality Tire & Battery

New and used tires with a warranty Used batteries with a warranty

Quality Tire & Battery is a tire shop in Knoxville, Tennessee. It is listed at 2943 N Central St, Knoxville, TN 37917, which places it among the local businesses of Knoxville that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Google also lists it under used tire shop, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

Knoxville is in Tennessee, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Knoxville is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Tennessee's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

If you are looking for affordable quality options for tires this is the place. I have used them 3 times now and have never been disappointed. Last week really points out their commitment to customer service. I needed a new tire but had no way to get my car there. No spare and no jack (thanks Dodge) I had purchased a jack to get the tire off my car so I could take it in and mid tire fix the fricken jack literally gave out. I ran to the tire shop and they loaned me a jack so I could get back up and running. Their price points are clear and concise and they are super quick about getting you squared away.

These guys are quick, friendly and efficient. I'm assuming I spoke with the owner and he was a very nice, honest guy. Sweetheart if a man... Cut me a deal today too as I have to come back Friday for 2 more. Most definitely will be back. Really great little tire shop.

I have always had a wonderfully fast experience when getting my tires changed. They have excellent service. They are one of the few used tire shops in town that offer card transactions with a small fee(which is to be expected)when using a card payment. I had a very good experience with them yesterday when I got my stud changed on my tire. They are 100% about customer service. I recommend them over any other used tire shop in the area.

I can’t thank this tire shop enough. I had a flat tire in 90-degree weather and a lug nut I couldn’t get off. After being turned away by several tire shops, I called this shop, and they told me if I could make it there, they’d help me. They kept their word and got me back on the road without hesitation. Their kindness and willingness to help meant more than they know. I’m truly grateful and highly recommend them!
